Yes you have seen this turtle before but this is it's twin. I made this turtle at the same time as the last one but didn't want to blog about it until I had give in it to it's very precious owner. One of my girlfriends had a very premy baby back in September, she has now reached 100 days so it's very exciting, Tickle the Turtle (or what ever baby Gaby will call her) is now with her new owner.

I have just started cutting out the fabric for this turtle! Yours is gorgeous! Could I please ask one question? The instructions ask for fusible batting for the turtles body. Did you use batting or interfacing? Or leave it out all together? Thanks.
ReplyDeleteCool, can't wait to see it. I used fusible batting, mainly because I had some. All of Audrey and Maude patterns use it, it gives the softie very soft edges and pads out better so you don't have empty spots of stuffing. This is the only pattern i've used it for though (I didn't for the robots). It does help but isn't essential. You don't need interfacing. Let me know how you go.
